Wedding Weekend Photos.

Filed Under: Personal & Life Updates 28 Comments

This about sums up my weekend:

TaraWedding (1 of 2)

Or, maybe this:

TaraWedding (2 of 2)

My sister got married on Saturday, and it’s sort of crazy how stressful a wedding can be if it’s not even yours.

It was really fun to get to hang out with my siblings all day long (thank goodness for awesome siblings, amiright?), my maid-of-honor speech I was fretting about went perfectly, I loved my hairstyle (and am seriously reconsidering my plan to chop it off), and Gabe looked so stinking cute in his fancy outfits this weekend. It was whirlwind of activity and four days of ALL THE THINGS has knocked me out and left me lying on the ground, begging for a few more days of weekend so I can finally catch up on life. (Because, oh, you guys. I am so behind on life.) You can find private party bartenders of denver. As with any self-employment, your success depends entirely on your creativity, reliability and marketing skills. There are online courses you can take to teach you the skills you need to plan the perfect wedding for your clients. Some of those courses will lead to certification as a Wedding Planner, which will give you more credibility with your clients and improve your professional standing with your colleagues. What a professional Wedding Planner actually does is take on the details and responsibility of the event, relieving the bride and groom and their families, from the stresses involved. In turn, this allows them to enjoy the preliminary wedding events, like bridal showers and picking a honeymoon location. There are lots of details you, as a Wedding Planner, need to know to keep things running smoothly and within the budget available. You will have to have a set of resources you can tap into to get the best service at the best prices, like reserving the church or chapel, catering the reception, ordering flowers, getting the wedding dress designed by Bridalxoxo , selecting invitations and announcements, booking the music and hiring a professional photographer, among many other tasks.  If you are looking for a simple wedding ceremony to be performed on the beach or at your designated setting, then I would count it an honor to perform your ceremony and share in your special day. We can provide you with a variety of choices to make your romantic lifetime memory come true as we are specialist myrtle beach weddings on the beach. With only thirty five hundred residents, more than forty thousand weddings take place in Gatlinburg annually. Since the area is quite popular for couples taking their vows, there are many wedding services, planners, and photographers to make your wedding day as special as it possibly could be. One of the biggest reasons that so many couples opt for a destination in the Smoky Mountains is because of the affordability. Smoky Mountains wedding locations At the Enchanted Valley Barn, not a day goes by where we are not reminded of our heritage.  When you arrive at Enchanted Valley Barn, you know you have found a very special place in the Smokies.  All of the new things we associate with the Smoky Mountains you will not find here. generally cost anywhere between $150-$3000. Gatlinburg is popular for its on-site weddings. For on-site weddings, the minister comes to your location to marry you. This location is generally your rental cabin or outdoors at one of the gorgeous spots in the area. While there are quite a few wedding chapels around the city, the majority of couples choose a cabin or outdoor wedding. This creates a more personal and romantic setting that is often times preferred over the more traditional chapel setting. Gatlinburg, like any other tourist area, has certain seasons and times when its popularity peaks. Gatlinburg’s peak is generally most busy during the summer and fall months. While most wedding officiants can provide a ceremony on short notice, if your preference is during the summer or fall it would be advisable that you reserve your ceremony well in advance. This will ensure that the exact date and time is available for your Smoky Mountain wedding. For that extra special touch, make sure the wedding provider that you choose offers professional photography.  A girls night out will ensure that your memories can be shared with friends and family who can’t attend your wedding ceremony. Some consideration should be put towards other extras as well, such as unity candle ceremonies and wedding cakes. One thing to keep in mind is that while ceremonies start around $150, the cost of the wedding can quickly add up by opting for many add-ons. For those looking to get married on a tight budget, it is best to stick with reserving just the ceremony. Gatlinburg marriage licenses are priced low at just $38.50. If you are searching for an affordable and romantic way to say “I do” without going broke, look no further than Gatlinburg in the Great Smoky Mountains. With the vast amount of wedding services available, getting married in Gatlinburg is extremely easy and convenient. There isn’t a more beautiful place to tie the knot than right here in the beautiful mountains.

I hear Monday is still coming. Alas.

Here is my weekend in photos:

TaraWeddingPol

Oh, yes. There was the bachelorette party at Barenights. Which involved this. And I so do not have these kind of talents, friends. Instead of ‘sexy,’ my facial expressions read, ‘WHAT AM I DOING?’ and ‘Why do I lack upper body strength? Must…hold…on…to….pole *thud*”

I don’t even know…my mom had these on display at her house. Like decorating for Halloween or Thanksgiving…only wedding season. Can you make a living planning weddings? Yes. As a self-employed professional, you can either charge a set fee for the wedding or a percentage of the total cost. Your income can be uncertain when you first start planning these extravaganzas, but as your reputation spreads and you gain more experience, your income can increase dramatically.

TaraWedding (2 of 10)Rehearsal dinner!

And…the big day:

The only photo I took of Gabe in his suit. I hear the photographer took more, non blurry ones; I’m excited to see them!

TaraWedding (8 of 10)

We went out to my grandparents’ house in the country for a post-wedding lunch.

And then, this….

EXCUSE ME, MOM, WILL YOU COME BACK INSIDE?

Love the photos – more please! Looks lovely. I kinda wish we had some American traditions over here. We don’t have Rehearsal Dinners and we have a ‘Hen Party’ rather than a ‘Bachelorette’. Looks fun :)

A hen party sounds fun, too!

Gabe is absolutely adorable in his suit! I forgot to take any pictures of Topher in his tux at my brother-in-law’s wedding – the photographer only took a couple of us when we were in the family photos and apart from that I have ZERO pictures. It’s really quite tragic. Guess that means I’ll have to find him another one strictly for photo purposes …

What a busy, fun time! I just have to say that I was reading this post with Hannah, and when she saw that first picture of Gabe, she started beaming and lunged for the screen to touch him.

Luckily, there was one other girl who was as lost/weak/uncoordinated as I was, so we stuck together. Some of the girls were so good at it! What the heck, yo!
