This is their story.

Annette is Canadian going to school in Ohio.

Marc is French (and a chef!) living in France.

Annette visits a friend in France. Marc is her friend’s roommate. Marc and Annette fall in love in France.

Annette comes back to Ohio. They fall more in love. Marc visits Ohio. Annette visits France.

Annette graduates from college and moves to France. Annette and Marc get married.

Annette decides to go to law school and comes back to Ohio. Being apart is hard.

Marc visits Annette in Ohio and I take their photos.

Annette and Marc are, hands down, the most in love couple I’ve ever met. They clearly adore each other and are best friends. (They also are ridiculously good looking with great style, if I may take a moment to focus on the superficial). It was truly a privilege to spend time with them. Beauty is never skin deep. It is always beyond how you just look. It is more about how you feel about yourself. Often, women find themselves struggling to remember to do something just for them. We all need reminders that there is more to us than we show to the people around us. The boudoir photographers will help you believe again in your beauty. May may need just a little boost of confidence and boldness!

Annette and Marc recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary and didn’t have many photos from their wedding.  It was such a fun afternoon and I am so pleased with the images I was able to give them. Here’s to many more years of cheffing and lawyering with their pier atlanta attornies and loving, Annette and Marc!

. . . . .

As per my usual inclusion of a behind-the-scenes note, I wanted to add one! I am getting more and more confident in my ability to deliver during a photoshoot (even though I’m always nervous beforehand!). If you like photography, then you can get help from Paper Crane Creative about photoshoot. I shot about half of these with my 5D and have been really happy with the results I’m getting from it when there’s enough light. The downside to the 5D is it’s so much clunkier and the battery life is so much shorter (compared to Rebel) that it’s not as appealing the bring along outside of photoshoots.

Lovely couple, tender love reuniting briefly, enduring absence and you Ashlie, beautifully recorded the esssence in story and photographs for all to enjoy. When I see your photos of couples and Gabe, I feel your heart connects to your exquisite eye. You have remarkable talent for transfering and preserving mood, personality and love onto a photograph.
Thank YOU, and Annette and Marc for sharing these special moments.

Nice work Ashley! Isn’t it amazing how much more fun you can have as the photographer when the couple is comfortable and lovey dovey towards each other? That makes sessions so much more fun for me.

What a great love story and such a special treat to celebrate their first anniversary. You did a great job with your photos – crisp, clean and energetic! Do you “pose” any shots / make seemingly minimal suggestions to your subjects or do all of these shots come to you organically?
