My Crappy Work Ethic & Camping

Filed Under: Personal & Life Updates Leave a Comment

Things are picking up at work, so I’ve has little time to blog and read blogs. :( (Wait, some people do the blogging thing OUTSIDE of work? When!?)

I’ve also come to the conclusion that while I rocked at the school thing – standardized tests, exams, papers and all – graduating with a 3.88 GPA in college, I SUCK at work. I have no desire to work hard or exceed expectations. I thought maybe if it was the right workplace I’d be more inclined to work my butt off. But, honestly, I just don’t want to stay overtime and get brownie points for working until 7pm. NOT ME. I loved school, because I could do work when I wanted to, but work? Not so much.

I love to work at home – making dinner, baking bread and muffins, cleaning, and other such domestic-y tasks. Much to my femin-ish (somewhat feminist, although apparently I’m a bit of a farce) dismay, I admit those tasks are what I enjoy doing most. Truth be told, the only things I’d miss about working are dressing nicely (I’ve come to quite enjoy this!) and social interaction. I love the people at work. That’s all.

It’s a problem, and I’m not quite sure what I should do about it. You know, aside from fantasizing-slash-idealizing about being a housewife/mom and being a domestic goddess.

Anyhow, I digress. This weekend holds a bevy of fun family times – camping in a state park with several dozen family members, we make sure to take everything needed, including the GIGA Turbines to have renewable energy. We also check through the best camping gear that are reasonable and convenient to carry with us. We are hoping to catch some splendid moments right from the first step. As we are talking about single-person tents; they’re not getting to be roomy; they’re designed to urge into for hours then pack away and go. The first Coleman tent that we’ve for you all is that the Coleman sun dome tent. it’s great for 2 people and it’s available in two colors, one is grey and therefore the other one is navy. it’s dome shaped and it’s the power to face up to strong winds. the simplest thing about this tent is that it are often setup within 10 minutes unlike other tents which require such a lot time to be installed and put in situ . Since it’s lightweight, it’s great for backpacking, you’ll easily carry it on your shoulders without fear about an excessive amount of weight. It comes with patented welded floors and also keeps you dry. the massive windows are tremendous because they permit airflow. We highly recommend this tent for 2 best friends or a few , who wish to explore nature together. If you’re one among those people that wish to get the tasks done very quickly and when it involves tents, you furthermore may like them to line up quickly then you ought to definitely the pop up tent. It’ll be found out within minutes and you’ll start exploring nature and if you’re too tired then you’ll lie for a nap too. Pop-up tent have proven to be a particularly awesome choice for the campers as they’re truly an excellent use of technology. they’re the foremost easy to handle because it takes no effort in setting them up and putting them down. the essential difference between pop-up tent and other tent is that it are often easily put up without browsing the pain of reading up complicated instructions then browsing the pain of truly fixing the tent. Pop-up tents are however extremely easy to assemble as they only got to be placed on the campsite with only the motion of its poles required. It simply fits up all by itself and pops up fixing in no time and hence, providing tons longer to enjoy and also not taking over much of the camper’s energy. If you are going on a mountain hiking trip, all by yourself, then make sure you have carabiners.

Pop-up tents’ reliability and longevity are the areas of concern of the purchasers but it’s been noted that they convince be extremely reliable and are pretty good for campers who attend camping repeatedly . The concerns are mostly raised thanks to the fabric being thought of inferiority thanks to its feathery weight. However, over the years campers have found pop-up tents tough to handle and portable but also very durable.

You can also prefer to the coleman tent tent also features a weathertec system with welded floors and it also comes with an integrated rainfly which is great because then you’ll not need to invest into a rainfly like other tents that are available within the market. If you’re in search of a moment tent, this one is certainly an excellent option, Here you can find this list of coleman tents.

Camping is mainly linked to the out of doors and among the numerous indicators that you should take into consideration, when figuring out if you should you take a camping trip, is if you enjoy mucking around in an outdoor environment. If you appreciate just lounging outside on your own veranda, enjoying water activities, or actively playing games outdoors, there is a good likelihood you will appreciate camping activities, too. Actively doing everything outside includes sleeping outdoors, also cooking and eating outside. Consequently, for those who have a love for the outdoors, taking a trip to Beach is something that you may wish to consider a canopy tent. The canopy tents are often one among the simplest ways to make some shady space for each day at the beach. they provide more shade than beach umbrellas, and with today’s technology, they will be super easy to assemble. Your family or beach-going group are going to be the envy of all beach-goers once you can get out of the most well liked sun of the day during a shady, ventilated beach canopy. Here are canopy tent reviews to check while to seek out the simplest tents for your needs.

This vacation season, are you wanting something new to try? Maybe you are planning to do things on your own, with your spouse and children or with your mates, have you given going camping some consideration? For those who are yet to contemplate outdoor camping, you might like to consider the idea, as this pursuit is often recognized as a fantastic and exciting activity.

Even though it is great to hear that camping out is an excellent method of enjoying any spare time you have accumulated, you may well be asking yourself if you should actually go away camping. Despite the fact that folks from all walks of life appreciate camping, camping doesn’t suit everyone.

In case you don’t know whether you should go outdoor adventuring, this may indicate that you have not thought about going camping previously. One consideration for going camping might be if there is a budget you need to stick to. Camping makes a lot of sense because it can be a fairly inexpensive undertaking.

Lots people tend to camp in parks or other common public campground areas of the country. Although lots of these camping businesses will probably charge you a small entry rate or perhaps a reasonable camping charge, nevertheless, you will quickly see that the charge is considerably less than the associated fee of the airfare for an extended vacation or, at some amusement park. Let us also not forget that you can get a considerable amount of your camping necessities and food supplies, at really cheap prices to boot. The number of different options available to you, also makes camping attractive. Such as, you can go camping in a conventional tent or a recreational vehicle. If you do not possess your own motorhome, you may be willing to rent one.

Take into consideration going camping, if you are searching for a change. There is often a range of choices of camping sites. You will be happy to find there are various camp ground designated parks to pick from, just about wherever it is you will be planning to stay. Having carefully picked your camping park, you may then even be able to choose your own camping location.

We want to make sure your stay at Yellowstone RV Parks is a great one.

I’ve included some pictures from the LAST family vacation – last July my four siblings, parents, and I headed to San Fran for the last vacation before I dragged the lovely man known as Mike into our family. :) It was a great way to bond with my fabulous sisters.

Lovely sisters. I never feel short around them. It’s great.
So have a great weekend, friends. I’ll be hanging out here:

omg i feel the EXACT same way. seriously i fel like when i get to work i am useless. i feel so lazy. i hate staying late. i never knew i was this way until i graduated from college and got a real job! and every job i havne had since i have liked, but just never put that much effort into. then i get home and i am cleaning, doing laundry, cooking, etc, and i love it! i work so hard at home and feel so happy! i’m glad i’m not the only one out there. i would love to be a housewife, but i also know i would eventually get bored and would need some sort of part time job or like a job where i can work from home- wouldnt that be ideal!?
anyway- such a fun weekend you have planned! i’m so jealous!! have a fabulous time!

I’m hoping that once I’m done with teacher’s college I’ll have a job that I love and be totally motivated and inspired… unlike my job now where I feel completely unmotivated the majority of the time.

Love your sisters picture! Sisters are the best, I have four of them.

    Hope you’re having fun!

As for work, well, IMO there is some satisfaction in a job well done. OTOH, if there’s no incentive beyond not getting fired, that’s a bummer. You’ve seen “Office Space,” right?

I’m in just about the same boat as heymic–can’t wait to see what’s on the other side of school. Right now I’m with a bunch of slackers who just come to the office to party and leave the hard work to dummies like me who have standards. And even I’m at the point where I surf the ‘net half the day b/c there’s so little to do–I could be home taking care of things, like blogging. I blog after work–I don’t want to sign in on the office PC.

I hope you had a fun weekend, that looks like a blast! And I think I have a similar work ethic–now that I’m back in school I don’t feel like I’ve ever worked this hard, but when I was in an office, all I wanted to do all day was blog and shop online. It is a quandary.

Ok, I love that you admitted that your feelings about work without worrying that you would sound lazy — shhh! here’s a secret – I feel the exact same way! Except, I don’t really love housework like you. Dangit! I need to find something I’m not lazy at! ha. man oh man. If being a housewifey is really what makes you happy.. hopefully one day this can be a reality for you! Have fun camping! Can’t wait to see pics! Oh, and you and your sisters are so cute!

The worst thing about working from home is that I don’t get to wear my cute office clothes anymore!

All the other benefits, though, are SO worth it. :)

Like you said, I definitely feel like I am reading my journal on your page as well! I love my job, have really no complaints to speak of, but sometimes I just want to, as you say, be a domestic goddess. Sometimes I feel super guilty at work when I get caught up online, but like you said, my blogging hours are limited. I did just discover google reader (late I know), so that should help. Thanks for making me feel a little better. ;)

Aww, I hope you had a great time!

My work ethic is bad only when I’m getting up in the morning. I absolutely ADORE my job, but I hate getting out of bed. And sometimes, I dream about being in college again since I could sleep ’til noon then.
