Personal & Life Updates

Gabe’s Lookbook.

Filed Under: Personal & Life Updates 7 Comments

I’ve shown you my little fall wardrobe boost, now let me share Gabe’s new outfits:

(from left: Adios Bicicleta Tee, Ticking Stripe Pants, Little Citizens Hoodie)

I’d heard a lot of great things about Tea and its children’s clothes, but I had yet to check out the site myself before receiving an email asking me if I’d like to choose some clothes for Gabe from Tea. (I typically ignore PR pitches, but I took about .2 seconds to respond “YESS!!!11!!).

After several hours browsing the boy’s section (and the baby boy’s section because I’m stubborn and all, “HE IS A BABY.”), I settled on my selections: a hoodie that says ‘for little citizens of the [earth]’, a long-sleeved layered-tee that says ‘adios amigos,’ and a pair of comfy brown pants.

Reasons why they’re awesome:

– Proceeds from the sale of the hoodie go towards the Global Fund for Children.

– The pants have super-roomy knees – essential for crawling and walking babies. Plus, they are so soft and easy to pull up and down – perfect for depantsing Gabe. I mean, perfect for changing his diaper.

– I am a sucker for a bicycle on a shirt. I bought this shirt for Mike a few years ago and it’s still of my favorites of his.

– The package included a coloring book of all things Mexico, the clothing line’s inspiration. Now, Gabe can’t color yet, but you know who can and did? Yep.

I love the striping detail on the pants – they are super versatile and can go with SO much, but are still fun and unique.

(I also love Gabe’s gap in his front teeth.)

Every single time Gabe wears one of his shirts or pants from Tea, we get compliments. No joke. Because this stuff is freaking adorable. Most of his clothes are hand-me-downs or gifts, so it was a real treat getting to choose things for him to wear myself.

Oct9 (8 of 23)Gabe is so fall-ready. Except winter is almost here and he doesn’t have a coat. I’m thinking a giant puffy winter coat on a tiny child is in order. Oh, yes.

Gabe is so cute! I love those brown pants and I think it’s so cool that the hoodie supports the global fund. It’s makes purchasing something your kiddo will outgrow quickly more reasonable!

Love! Those pants are too adorable :) We’ve finally gotten to the point where Topher has outgrown all the hand-me-downs/shower gifts we’ve been storing for him so we actually have to BUY clothes for him – who knew baby clothes were so expensive? Yeesh.

When Gavin was born, friends gave us a set of three Tea onsies. They were made of the thickest cotton ever. I was impressed. Looks like you got some great loot from them!
