The Ideal Me

Filed Under: Personal & Life Updates Leave a Comment

Ideally, I’d…

  • Floss daily.
  • Never skip a run for Friends and chocolate chip cookies.
  • Be patient with rude drivers.
  • Be consistent in my working out and healthy eating.
  • Start packing for my move in, oh, EIGHT DAYS.
  • Clean up as I go, instead of living in a filth hole for a week before I throw a big cleaning party.
  • Stay off the computer for more than 15 minutes.
  • Keep in touch with friends and sisters more regularly.
  • Read a book instead of flipping on the tube.
  • Be at peace with where I am instead of wishing to be somewhere else. (Figuratively speaking.)
  • Be more adventurous and willing to dream.
  • Be okay with not having a career plan. At all.
  • ETA: Run early instead of always running late. It’s a chronic problem. That plagues me.
  • Be really great a FINDING things instead of losing things. :)

Ah, well. What can you do? I’m human.

Gosh the ideal me? She would be too scary and perfect. And therefore not me. But she would definitely eat more vegetables and less girl scout cookies

I was just noticing today how my apartment gradually gets worse throughout the week until I can’t handle the mess anymore and go on a cleaning spree. Its so annoying, but I can’t help it!

    How exciting about your move!

I’m one of those everyday flossers, I can’t go without it!

I wish I was ok with where I am at in my life all the time, not just half of the time.

Yeah I wish I was a lot of this stuff too! LOL. We strive for many of the same things. I wish I could floss more, I’m just such a bad one. I really try though.

Dana: Wow. I’m impressed. I just can’t get it together enough to be consistent!

Steph Corwin: Amen. But Thin Mints and Samoas are SO friggin’ delicious!!

TTWAS: It’s just natural for me. I can’t fight it too hard. And I secretly enjoy my big cleaning party, anyway!

Auburn Kat: How do you do it?! I’m jealous. I need to get on that bandwagon.

Bayjb: It’s so hard to make myself do it!! :)

    EP: Here’s to wishing. :)

I’ve tried really really really hard to be okay with no career path… but every day it freaks me out even more.
